Self-service venues
The online booking and kiosk platform for unattended and 24/7 indoor golf venues.
Customers book a bay on your branded site, arrive, tap their confirmation at the kiosk, and start play. The kiosk handles waiver, payment, door, locker, and bay-power. Operators monitor every active session remotely from the control room.

What it actually takes to run a venue without staff on the floor
Branded online booking, member-aware
Customers book on your branded site with member rates, off-peak rules, and deposit policies built in. Members log in once and get tier pricing and balances. Walk-ins book on the kiosk if they show up unbooked.
Sub-60-second kiosk tap-in
Booked customers tap their confirmation, sign the waiver if needed, and the kiosk hands them the bay. The whole flow runs without a staff member, including for first-time customers.
Door, locker, and bay-power on check-in
The kiosk integrates with smart locks, lockers, and bay-power so check-in physically opens what the customer needs. Standard for unattended venues.
Sessions, extensions, and turnover
Each booking is a live session with a clock. Customers extend from the kiosk if the next slot is free. Bays prep and clear automatically between sessions, no staff needed.
Remote operator control room
Operators monitor every active session from anywhere. The control room flags overstays, payment failures, jams, and pending extensions in priority order, so off-site staff know exactly when to step in.
Audit trail on every action
Every operator override, every refund, every door unlock, every session change is logged with who, what, when, and why. Required for venues that run without staff on the floor.
The 24/7 operating model
Open the doors. Let the platform run the floor.
A self-service venue isn't a regular venue with a kiosk on top. It's a different operating model and Simbook is built for it end-to-end. Online booking is the front door. The self-service kiosk is the in-venue experience. The control room is where operators monitor remotely. All four products share the Simbook platform. Before going unattended, walk through our 24/7 simulator venue operating checklist.

FAQ
Common questions from venue operators
How do customers actually get into the venue?+
They book online ahead of time and arrive at the door. The kiosk authenticates their booking (QR, member ID, or saved card), unlocks the door, locker, and bay-power, and starts the session timer. No staff needed.
Can a single operator monitor multiple unattended venues?+
Yes. The control room supports a multi-venue HQ view with priority-ordered alerts, so off-site operators know exactly which venue to look at. Many operators run 3-5 unattended venues from one screen.
What happens if the internet goes down at a venue?+
The kiosk is offline-tolerant for short outages and queues check-ins. For sustained outages, operators are alerted via the control room and can take action remotely, including unlocking doors via cellular backup.
Do you support member-only off-hours access?+
Yes. You can configure a venue to be staffed during peak hours and member-only self-service overnight or off-peak. The booking and kiosk rules adjust automatically.
What about walk-ins at a self-service venue?+
Walk-ins are supported via the kiosk: pick a bay, pay with tap-to-pay or wallet, sign the waiver, and start play. Same operating model as the online booking, no parallel system to maintain.
Who supports our venue when something breaks at 2am?+
We do. Simbook is a support partner, not just a software vendor. Real remote support for venue managers and their customers, troubleshooting across simulator software, launch monitors, bay PCs, kiosk hardware, and operational setup. For unattended venues this is essential, and it's why operators pick a platform that includes real human support, not a ticket queue.
